The National Commodity Supply Corporation of India stands as a key entity in the agricultural commodity management system, dedicated to ensuring food supply efficiency and farmer welfare across the region. We participate in the strategic procurement of fruits, vegetables, and flowers, aiming to support remunerative prices for farmers and a stable supply of essential commodities for consumers.

What We Handle

Four commodity streams, one cold chain.

Each stream runs its own grading and handling protocol, tuned to how quickly the produce loses quality after harvest.

Fruit Procurement & Ripening

Mango, banana, citrus and litchi moved through graded collection centres into controlled-ripening chambers, cutting post-harvest loss between orchard and mandi.

Vegetable Aggregation

Daily aggregation of onion, tomato, potato and leafy greens from FPO clusters, with same-day dispatch to consumption centres to protect freshness and price.

Floriculture & Nursery

Cut-flower and nursery stock from polyhouse clusters routed through climate-controlled handling ahead of festival and wedding-season demand.

Infrastructure

A cold chain built for what doesn’t wait.

Perishables lose value by the hour. Our network is built to move produce from field to storage before that clock runs out.

Quality & Grading

From orchard to Agmark, in four steps.

01

Field Collection

Produce is lifted directly from registered farms and FPOs within hours of harvest to preserve freshness.

02

Sorting & Grading

Batches are sorted by size, ripeness and blemish to Agmark and export-grade standards.

03

Cold-Chain Handling

Perishables move into pre-cooling and cold storage within the critical first six hours.

04

Dispatch & Traceability

Every lot is tagged and tracked from source to mandi, giving buyers full provenance data.
